| ALL students are expected to treat one another courteously with respect for the other person’s feelings. Students are expected to avoid any behaviors known to be offensive and to stop these behaviors when asked or told to stop. All students are prohibited from engaging in conduct of a sexual nature. Repeated, unwanted, or aggressive behavior among school-aged children that involves a real or perceived power imbalance is considered bullying and will not be tolerated.
Sexual Harassment and
Bullying will be dealt with swiftly and appropriately. Anyone who violates this policy will be subject to discipline, up to and including expulsion.
SSCA encourages students to eliminate all types of bullying in our schools and community. Students should immediately report bullying when it is observed or experienced so that school personnel may take appropriate action. Students, parents, staff who learn of a bullying incident are asked to report it as soon as possible. Reports may be made by completing and submitting the Speak Up to Stop Bullying Form. Reports may also be made by directly contacting any campus administrator or Campus Safety. You may also read about SSCA's Investigation Plan for harrasment and bullying. Eliminating bullying behavior is everyone's responsibility, and your involvement is appreciated. |
